This novel of first contact and the voyage to a rendezvous was written over the winter of 2017-18. It grew out of a story I wrote in a session of the BAM Creative Writing Group.

I see the story visually as a series of episodes, much like one of Star Trek. It unfolded each day as I had no preconceived idea of where it would go. I would end the day’s writing with the title of the next chapter and that led the story to its conclusion.
