Earth Terms

  • The Order -The ruling oligarchy emerging from 2018. It combined strong man dictatorships and corporate interests worldwide. Took control of most governments and corporations after the Putin Wars o4 the mid 2020’s
  • SCO – Senior Council of the Order; The group of oligarchs who controlled the earth
  • Ariceibo: Space listening station in Puerto Rico where first message from Neologue was heard in 2021
  • The Project: The effort to build a space ship, The Arcielle, begun in 2080s and launched in 2130 to meet the Neologians half way between the two planets; The focus of much of earths resources and manpower; used as method of control and taxation of all earth inhabitants.
  • The Rendezvous: The point 25 light years between Earth and Neologue where the two ships were to meet
  • Hibe: the placement of a human in a physical state whereby metabolism is reduced to one week equaling one year of woke time
  • Woke: normal metabolism
  • Pod: the container into which human’s were placed, surrounded by a nutrient gas and put into hibernation
  • EY: earth years; normal earth time frame
  • MY: metabolic years; the age of an individual retained in hibe; for example- 31 years of age entering hibe. After 40 years in hibe the person would be 71EY old but only 31 and 40 weeks old in MY
  • AdAC: Administrative Academy;Advanced leadership and management school attended by members of the Order and specially chosen future high level executives of corporations and governments
  • XAI: The corporation which built artificial intellligence machines/robots; the leading producer of “humanoid support technicians”…humebots.
  • X700 series: Most advanced humebots ever created culminating in creation of X719
  • X719/Ginger:Conceived and created by Fred Dawson at XAI corp; the ultimate humebot designed to care for the pods and those in hibe and to maintain the Arcielle during the entire length of the voyage in conjunction with other robotic and AI devices.

The Arciellele

  • Arcielle: Space ship built to carry Earthers to the Rendezvous
  • Fusion Drive: Regenerative power system used to propel the Arcielle to the Rendezvous and back; Did not require refueling for the entirety of the voyage
  • RC: the reconstitutor; device able to utilize pure energy and matter and turn it into physical matter or objects including food. Similar to a 3D printer but highly advanced and powerful
  • Electroplasmic Field: the gas and nutrient flow into the pods which maintain humans during hibe
  • The CCC: Central Command Computer: The main computer of the Arcielle which monitors and coordinates all activity on board. Between the CCC and X719, other robots and nanobots, no humans are required to manage the Arcielle during the voyage to and from the rendezvous. Therefore no crew is required allowing humans to remain in hibe during the length of the voyage. Reduces need for a large ship carrying humans and requisite supplies or need for inter generational humans born, educated and cared for during the course of the 100 year total voyage.
  • The hive: The system of nanobots connected to the CCC which maintain the Arcielle at the individual component level. Capable of organization and repair of all aspects of the ship.
  • TSL (Trans Ship Lift): System for moving about the various decks and sections of the Arcielle
  • EFP: Energy Field Projector: device which uses energy beams to create a force field

X719/Ginger

  • Neurometric fluid: in effect acts as X719’s blood flow; instead of bringing hemoglobin to each cell, the fluid brings nano bots containing energy, waste cleaning, repair capability, as well as connecting each cell to the central neural net that is X719s brain.
  • NN: The neural net; X719s brain; Able to be connected to the CCC as well as to individual nanobots. Functions as backup and eyes and arms of CCC.
  • OI’s (pronounced “oys”) Ocular Interface: X719’s visual input device. Capable of seeing details at the electron microscopic level. Designed to change color depending upon inputs and tasks so that humans have a window on functioning of the humebot.
  • VR: Vocal Resonator; System by which X719 replicates sounds for communication and other requirements. Able to reproduce virtually any sonic pattern.
  • MOs: Microsonic Oscillators: auditory system

Neologue Terms

  • Solsturns; One Neologian year; time to make a complete circuit around their two suns; Equal to 2.2EY
  • Hebdo: One Neolgian day
  • Neologue class system: Strictly regimented power and class structure of Neologue society
  1. Doleurs – Highest class; the “deciders”; control all resources and decisions
  2. Intellos – Theorists, Researchers, Propagandists, Interpreters of earth signals and behavior
  3. Millitos- Warriors, Guards
  4. Technos – Designers and managers of technology and processes
  5. Mechanos – Makers and maintainers of all machines and physical processes
  6. Menios – do the physical labor work and support for all functions
  • The Mission: The plan to meet the Earthers at the rendezvous and ultimately take control of Earth
  • DC: The Doleur Council: The Neologue leadership group
  • SD: The supreme Doleur: The unquestioned leader of the Neologues and the DC
  • Neolgian Sensa; substance which enhances mental activity; controlled and used only by the Doleurs
  • Lespis: animal with white fur which has a special property to reflect radiation; needed due to the strong emissions given off by the 2 Neologue suns. Very rare and expensive

Neo 1

  • Neo 1: The Neologian flag ship; primary battleship of Neologue
  • ITC: Integrated Transport Computer; the command system used by the Doleurs
  • PMD: personal memory device: each Neologian issued a PMD for communications and connection to the ITC
  • Atomizer: Neologian device to reduce matter to its basic elements for storing and recycle back into other uses. Also used as a weapon
  • Habicle: Personal living space for those on board the Neo 1
  • Recline space: Neo bed
  • ECP: Energy Command Panel: main control station for engines and power management
  • ECM: Energy Control Monitor: the main power control
  • ED: Energy Diverter: The device that controls the distribution of power to the engines and other function of the Neo 1
  • Beam driver: an electronic screw driver
  • TT (Transport Tubes): System for moving about the various decks and sections of the Neo 1
