Who’s There: I’ve been a long time fan of the Dr. Who sci fi series from Great Britain going back to the time it was broadcast in the US in the early 70’s. However it was the Tom Barker version on PBS in 1978 that really connected with me and in the US in general. The series reincarnation beginning in 2005 has continued to entrap me through the various newer iterations of the Doctor. This story was based upon a trigger with a list of famous names written in 2012. It imagines the first time Sarah Jane Smith meets the Doctor.

A Change of Plans: Charles is a very organized, detailed oriented and regimented man. Everything in his life is planned down to the last detail. Until one time when it wasn’t and a price has to be paid.

Jack Driscol: The Ex Affair: Chapter 5 Attorney for the Defense

Jack and his attorney, Ralph Crum take a deposition from his ex wife Rachel, who is supported by her attorney, Milton Porter. Milton had served the Gordon family business for over 20 years. Details of the relationship between Rachel and her dead husband begin to raise questions about her behavior and the relationship between her and her son and Milton. The big question remaining is who was in the house the morning of the murder who Jack heard as he left his meeting with Gordon.

1st Transcendence: Out of Order: Chapters 8-14

These chapters provide background to the development of the mission to rendezvous with the Neologians. The political and historical context under which the Earth ship, Arcielle, is designed and built and sent off on the mission becomes clear. More information on X719, Ginger, and her relation to Fred, her designer and engineer assigned to the mission is revealed. An inadvertent mistake begins to change one of the humans in the hibernation pods. Meanwhile, we meet Baktor, the Chief Techno on the Neo 1, the Neologian ship on its way from the other side of the galaxy to meet up with the Earthers. He has a long time fascination with earth culture and is also a member of a small group of Neologians who are trying to create equality between the various classes of Neologue. In a daring move, he sends a message to the Earther ship and awaits a response.
